By using nowmic.com or buying from us you’re agreeing to the terms below. We’ve kept them as plain as we can without losing the parts that actually matter legally.

1. Who we are

“nowmic,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the lighting brand operating at nowmic.com, headquartered in Houston, Texas. “You” means anyone visiting the site or placing an order.

2. Eligibility

You need to be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to place an order. By checking out you’re confirming you meet that threshold and that the payment method is yours to use.

3. Pricing & availability

Prices on the site are in U.S. dollars. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before fulfillment — if a fixture is mistakenly listed at $50 instead of $500, we’ll cancel the order and refund you in full rather than ship at the wrong price. This happens maybe once a year.

Stock counts shown on the site are accurate as of the most recent inventory sync (we sync hourly). On rare occasions an item sells out between sync intervals; if that happens to your order we email within a business day and offer a hold for restock or a full refund.

4. Orders & payment

An order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation email from us. The confirmation page that appears immediately after checkout is generated by our payment processor and is not a binding acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including (but not limited to) suspected fraud, shipping addresses that don’t match the billing region, or orders flagged by our anti-carding system.

Choose from the card, PayPal and other eligible payment options shown at checkout. Available methods depend on your location, device and order.

5. Shipping & returns

6. Warranties & disclaimers

Every fixture carries a 1-year manufacturer warranty on electrical components and a lifetime structural warranty on the body itself. Outside those explicit warranties, products are sold “as is” — colors, finishes, and dimensions on the site are accurate to within typical photography and manufacturing tolerances but are not guaranteed to be exact reproductions of what you’ll receive. We always include calibrated product shots, but a 4K screen is not a substitute for hanging a fixture in your actual room.

7. Installation & safety

Our fixtures are intended for indoor residential use (a handful are rated for damp locations like covered porches — that’s noted on the product page). Installation should comply with your local electrical code. For new wiring, sloped ceilings, fixtures over 25 pounds, or anywhere you’re not sure, hire a licensed electrician. We’re not liable for property damage or injury arising from improper installation.

8. Intellectual property

The nowmic name, logo, product designs, and site content (photography, copy, layouts) are our intellectual property. You may share product photos with attribution; please don’t republish our copy or sell knock-offs of our designs. We pursue both.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We’re not liable for incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute that can’t be resolved by email goes to binding arbitration in Harris County, Texas. You waive the right to participate in a class action.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally — the “last updated” date at the top will change. Substantive changes get an email to active customers. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
